INTO ETERNITY Mainman On New CD: 'We Are So Proud Of This Album'

October 3, 2006

INTO ETERNITY guitarist Tim Roth has issued the following update:

"Today is a special day because it is the release date of our fourth album, 'The Scattering of Ashes'. We are so proud of this album. It's full of high-energy songs with lots of crazy singing and fast playing! We hope you all enjoy the new record!

"I'm sad to say that this amazing tour [Gigantour 2006] is almost over. Things have never been better in the INTO ETERNITY camp. All the fans have been showing tons of support for us and for that we are really thankful.
The shows have been going great and we have met a ton of really nice people along the way.

"Tonight in Portsmouth, VA is a special show for us. The lineup looks like this: MEGADETH, LAMB OF GOD, INTO ETERNITY, THE SMASHUP. We are playing in a nice venue tonight. It's so nice that we even finally get to take showers! The past three club shows we haven't been that lucky....ha.

"Tomorrow will be a historical show for us. We are direct support to MEGADETH! Here are the show details for October 4: MEGADETH, INTO ETERNITY, THE SMASHUP [at] 2390 W Aviation Ave [in] North Charleston, SC.

"The whole band is blown away by this chance to play a one-off show with the masters themselves!! Hopefully we'll see everyone tomorrow and don't forget to pick up the new record!"

The follow-up to 2004's "Buried in Oblivion", "The Scattering of Ashes" was mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, ARCH ENEMY),and marks the group's first release with vocalist Stu Block, who was previously a member of Vancouver's OMEGA CROM.
